When you're lookin for top quality botanical extracts, you'll find them at Ingredients To Die For, without question.  When you buy them from another supplier It's important to question the preservative system, and the base, of any extract.  There are many extracts that are in an alcohol base, which don't require a preservative but, that doesn't make them good for your skin.  If you wouldn't add alcohol to your product, do you really want to add an extract that is in a base of alcohol.  In Herbal Medicine that is called a tincture.  There are also many extracts that are in a petro chemical base, which does the extraction easier but, if you wouldn't add a petro chemical to your product, do you really want to add an extract that is in a petro base.  Unfortunately, there is no standardization within the cosmetics industry so you won't know what you're getting until you ask.
