STRI-X RECONSTRUCTOR CREME::
We received an overwhelming number of requests for a product formulation that would be similar to the commercial product "Stri-Vectin SD". Stri-Vectin SD is sold at Bloomingdale's in a 6oz tube with a $135 price tag. More shocking than that is the fact that consumer response indicates they feel it's well worth the cost, and can't wait to get more.
In true ITDF style, we decided to one-up them, focusing not only on a blend of fabulous actives, botanicals, and proteins...but also choosing the most natural, desirable emulsifiers and emollients available.
This product has been formulated for the specific concerns of wrinkles, stretch marks (or striae), and acne scarring.
We begin with our Organicals Time Defy Complex, featuring fresh botanicals chosen for their anti-wrinkle and antioxidant properties, ability to inhibit 5 alpha reductase, as well as phyllanthus emblica for its mild lightening action. Revolution A boosts cell renewal, while E reduces moisture loss, and P exerts an anti-inflammatory action.
We chose the SLL and SSL combination of Lactylates as our emulsifiers because of their excellent skin feel, top-shelf aesthetics, and inherent moisturizing properties. In studies, the Lactylates were applied to skin and were still found there after siz weeks of wash-n-wear, still moisturizing!
One of the KEY ingredients in this formulation is ElastiNew. ElastiNew is the most promising ingredient ever invented for the repair, reduction, and prevention of acne scars and stretch marks. After its invention, it was discovered that ElastiNew, Cucurbita pepo - Pumpkin Peptides, is also very efficacious at reducing the appearance of wrinkles! This formula has a skill level of Advanced. The other KEY ingredient is Syn-Coll, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5, for the repair of torn and damaged tissues. Combined, these actives offer nature's most powerful defense against, and repair of, stretch marks, and other damaged tissue conditions.
This has become one of our most requested formulary items and is now available as a ready made base, for those of you who prefer to just buy the base, ready to add fragrance, instead of making it: Stri-X Reconstructor Creme Base
To add natural fragrance, and compliment the stretch mark activity of this formula try adding 1% of our Formulary Essential Oil Blend Stretch Mark Oil.

Directions:
1. Combine water and Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate Preservative and mix well. Make sure Gluconolactone, Sodium Benzoate Preservative is dissolved before heating. Heat to 170F.
2. Incorporate actives and return to 170F. Mix well.
3. Add Sodium Lauroyl Lactylate and allow to melt into solution. Additional heating may be required.
4. Combine B and heat to 170F. Mix well.
5. Combine A and B with good mixing. Continue mixing occasionally during cooldown.
