Organicals AHA / BHA Clarifying Face Wash

This cleanser contains alpha hydroxy acids (Glycolic at 12% and Lactic at 4%) to re-new and rejuvenate, along with beta hydroxy acid (Salicylic at the active level 2%) to cleanse and refine, with antiinflammatory agents to sooth and prevent irritation while removing excess oil and damaged skin, promoting new skin cell production and collagen formation for a healthy, radiant glow. Formulated for normal to oily skin.

Glycolic and Lactic Acids are Alpha Hydroxy acids (fruit acids). Fruit acids are nontoxic naturally occurring substances, and are found in a variety of fruits, such as grapes, apples, sugar cane and corn. Use of Organicals Glycolic products will improve oily and acne prone skin and decrease the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. 

Salicylic Acid is a Beta Hydroxy Acid, which is very different from the exfoliation of the alpha hydroxy acids.  Instead of being small they are large and get deep into the pores to dissove the build up that leads to problem skin and inflammatory acne.

• clear to light yellow, viscous gel
• characteristic odor
• store:  tightly sealed and away from direct heat and moisture
• shelf: 18 months when properly stored and handled
• pH: 2.8 - 3.4

Directions: Apply a moderate amount to wet skin and gently massage to cover the entire face, avoiding lips and eyes. Rinse clean with water and pat dry. CAUTION

It is important to know that this may cause a slight stinging and / or redness, until the skin gets used to the acids.  If irritation develops, use every other day for a couple of weeks to acclimate the skin and then increase usage.  If irritation continues, discontinue use, or use a neutralizig toner to bring the skin back to normal pH more quickly.  You may also apply a 10% sodium bicarbonate solution to calm any irritation and rapidly alkalinize the skin  This product is not for those with sensitive / irritated skin.
