LiPlump is based on plant-derived hydroxproline (collagen) and represents one of the most powerful, state of the art, weapons against aging skin. This plant-derived biological delivery system for hydroxyproline, a collagen amino acid with well characterized moisturizing activity, created by grafting palmitic acid onto the hydroxyproline. LiPlump delivers this important amino acid directly through the skin where it plays specific and essential roles in both the synthesis of collagen sub-units and in the three-dimensional folding of collagen fibres to regain the skin plumpness lost through normal aging and because it is a a compound similar to those which occur naturally in the human body it is very well tolerated by the skin and the lips.
